Adobe Business Catalyst is closing. Site needs moving?

In March 2018, Adobe broke the news that they are closing down their cloud-based web management platform Adobe Business Catalyst on the 26th March 2020.  On this date the service, and all the data hosted on Business Catalyst, will be deleted.

If your website runs on Adobe Business Catalyst, you need to act now to move it away (what is generally called migration).  Don’t wait until the last minute to move away from Business Catalyst: it will take time to plan and then perform the move.

Adobe Business Catalyst has been around now for quite a few years now and provides a single solution for website content management, Customer Relationship management (CRM), eCommerce and email marketing.  It is a pretty impressive ‘all-in-one’ cloud solution for businesses that have a broader set of digital requirements like eCommerce and an online CRM.  There are around 66,000 websites worldwide using Business Catalyst, with around 3200 in the UK.  They will all need moving away by 26th March 2020.

If you are looking to migrate your Abode Business Catalyst website to another platform, drop us a line for a chat.  Generally, our preferred platform is Umbraco which is a free .Net Content Management System (CMS), is rock solid and comes with a huge range of features.  Read more about why we like Umbraco here.

We are a specialist digital agency with many years of experience in delivering and maintaining websites for our clients. We would be an ideal match for a medium sized or larger business looking to move their website away from Adobe Business Catalyst.

We have a tried and tested delivery process expertly handled by a dedicated project manager and tested by our own in-house tester.  And of course, we would review how your website is performing for the business as part of the migration, and recommend any improvements as part of the move.
