The purpose of the tool is simple: instead of expecting users to know where to click, what to search for, or how the website is structured, they can ask a natural question and receive a clear, useful response based on the content already available on the site.
The solution generates well structured LLM (large language model) files and updates/deletes them through the Umbraco publishing pipelines.
Editors can improve and refine AI responses directly through the CMS, while failed or low-confidence searches can be tracked and reviewed.
Behind the scenes, the solution brings together cloud storage, cloud AI search and cloud AI agents to create a controlled, scalable AI layer for the website.
For Weightmans, this AI foundation is also being developed towards future WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger and on-site chat agent experiences.
