The Hallmark UK website needed a digital boost. Facing a change to their online approach and needing to adapt to the online market, the website needed to be refreshed from a UI, SEO and content point of view. Having recently refreshed their brand, the Hallmark UK website was also falling behind their offline collateral.
One of the key aims was to funnel traffic and conversions through to the Hallmark Amazon store.
In addition to this, the need to promote the Hallmark ethos and present the new brand assets digitally was a key design challenge. We worked with the Hallmark marketing team to develop the website designs, taking a digital advisory role.
Built in WordPress, we took on the requirement to “future proof” Hallmark’s site by delivering a flexible and robust content management system. It was important that Hallmark be easily able to update and change their online content, without constantly needing development support. Now they can.
The new Hallmark UK website launched in September, since then we have seen a surge in newsletter and online enquiry submissions; we have a range of tracking features set up, gathering that all important data for us. In addition, the website has received high praise, performed superbly, and for us is an exemplar project.
